Five scientists were honored with Tan Kah Kee Science Awards 2010 at the 15th General Assembly of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the 10th General Assembly of Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) in Beijing on Wednesday.

The winners are Bai Yilong, professor of the Institute of Mechanics, CAS; Yang Xueming, professor of Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS; Pei Gang, professor of Tongji University on life science; Li Desheng, professor of Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration & Development, PetroChina; and Wu Liangyong, professor of Tsinghua University.
